Betty J. Schneider

Betty J. Schneider, 92, of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in Aurora, IL.

Betty was born August, 16, 1928, in Rochester, IL the daughter of William & Velma (Casey) Ebinger. She married William J. Schneider on June 3, 1950. They were the parents of two children, Richard (Barbara) Schneider & Teri (Scott) Siegl. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband & her son.

Betty was employed at Franklin Life Insurance for 36 years as a data entry clerk. She was a member of Christ the King Church.

Betty loved to dance; she & Bill were ballroom dance instructors for Fred Astaire Dance Studio & gave exhibitions around Springfield. No doubt they are doing the Jitter Bug in heaven.

Survivors include daughter, Teri (Scott) Siegl of Aurora; one grandson, Daniel Metz, granddaughter, Alicia, great-grandsons Tyler, Marlin & Matthew, several nieces, nephews & cousins.

A private service will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
