Betha L. McCowan

Bertha L. McCowan, 78 of Springfield, died at 12:27 pm, Wednesday, July 7, 2021. She was born on August 26, 1942 in Auburn, IL to David and Bertha (Peeler) Vanquelef.

She is survived by three sons, Troy McCowan of Springfield, Bond McCowan and Brian McCowan both of California; two sisters, Dora (Carl) Pitchford of Gulf Breeze, FL and Sadie (Paul) Farris of Roseville, CA, and several nieces and nephews. Bertha is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lauretta Vanquelef. She was a resident of Springfield since 1982 and was a homemaker.

Private services are being held at Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, IL.
