Bertha Alene Perry

Bertha Alene Perry, 91, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born August 19, 1930 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Jess and Beulah (Porter) Roe.

A homemaker, Bertha loved playing BINGO anytime she was able. She was the backbone of the family and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Rejeanna Conley, Paula Baldridge, Tammy (Robert) Bletz, Terri (Bill) Johnson, Mary Ann (Roy) Lee, Betty (Steve) Hicks, Dwain (Patty) Perry, Danny (Mary) Perry and Benny (Jean) Perry; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Riley and Polly Reynolds; and two brothers, Tex Roe and Charles Roe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Joe Perry; a son, Tim Perry; and seven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Mansfield Cemetery.
