Barbara Ann Reynolds

Barbara Ann Reynolds, 63, of Springfield, formerly of Mason City, passed away on April 15, 2021 at her home, surrounded by the ones she loved most. She was born February 26, 1958 in East Chicago, IN to John W. and Dorothy Ann Jones Naylor.

Survivors include companion, John Sforza of Springfield; two daughters, Ashley (Andrew) Vandermeer of Denver, CO and Amy Shelabarger of Vail, CO; one son Nicholas (Katelynn) Reynolds of Springfield; three grandchildren, Daisy, Ella and Nova; two step-children, Michelle (Tristan) Reynolds and Christopher (Megan) Reynolds; and several step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She participated in countless breast cancer fundraisers and because of her passion for fighting breast cancer, pink became her favorite color. She loved spending her time with family and friends. She absolutely enjoyed traveling, especially to any beach that she could set her eyes on. Barb devoted her life to helping others, even through all of her pain.

She graduated in 1976 from Southeast High School and resided in Springfield for most of her life.

Barb retired in 2015 from Lee School in Springfield after 33 years of service as a Speech Pathologist.

Barb’s family requests all to wear pink, bright colors, or TEAM BARB outfits for the visitation.

Visitation: 4 – 7 PM, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11 AM, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Reverend Trenton Rauck, S.J.C. officiating.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

CDC Protocol shall be followed.
