Alice G. Renicker

Alice G. Renicker, 83, of Wainwright, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in Cleveland Clinic-Union Hospital at Dover following a period of declining health.
Born in Mineral City, she was the daughter of the late Llewellyn and Ela (Smart) Blunt and was a longtime member of the Holmes United Methodist Church at New Philadelphia. Alice enjoyed crocheting, sewing, crafting and working in her flower garden.
On April 17, 1953, Alice married Wayne Renicker and together shared over 18 years of marriage before his passing on June 7, 1971.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Debra (William) Huff of New Philadelphia, Barbara (William) Nalley of Gilmore, Randy (Lori) Renicker of Westchester, Rick Renicker of Wainwright and Marla (Joe) Stevens of Uhrichsville as well as 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also carrying her memory are her sister, Doris (Fred) Ricer of Navarre, a brother Ernest Blunt and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Alice was preceded in death by two sisters, four brothers, an infant great-grandson and her beloved pet, “Little One”.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia where a service will begin at 1:30 PM with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will be in Holmes Church Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
The family asks that anyone attending the visitation or service to please wear a mask and observe necessary social distancing requirements.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice, in memory of Alice.
