Wynn Paterson

Wynn Alan Paterson, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home in McCandless on July 22, 2025. He was formerly of Penn Hills.

Born on December 29, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Wynn was the beloved son of the late William and Alice (Morris) Paterson. He was a devoted husband of 51 years to his wife, Debra (Hydak) Paterson, and a loving father to Dara (Bob) Kozak, Derek (Rochelle) Paterson, and Dana (Dean) McCollum. Wynn took great pride in his role as a grandfather to AJ, Logan, Cole, Rea, Halle, Myla, Hayden, and Shane.

He is also survived by his siblings William “Pat” Paterson, Wayne Paterson, Wade Paterson, and Cheryl Lawson, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
