William Thorn

William Robert Thorn, originally of Warner Robins, GA, and most recently of Philadelphia, passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 60. He was the beloved husband of Timothy Sullivan. Together, they shared 27 wonderful years, the last ten as a married couple.

Bill was the cherished brother of Bob Thorn (Ellen), Tammy Hinton, and Donna Mularkey; and the loving uncle of Aron, Braxton, and many other nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Warner Robins, GA, Bill was the son of Robert and Emma Thorn. He proudly served as a soldier in the United States Army National Guard. He later moved to Allentown, PA, where he pursued a career in nursing and went on to teach for many years as an instructor at Lincoln Tech. Known for his great sense of humor, Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill’s life on Saturday, September 27, from 6–8 PM at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154. A memorial service will follow at 8 PM.
