Marty Harrell

Marty Lee Harrell Sr, a resident of Broxton, Georgia passed away on September 23, 2025,at the age of 62. He was born July 29,1963 in Fulton County, Ga to Marilyn

Ann Monkin Harrell and the late Jackie Earlish Harrell.

Marty loved to hunt, Fish, camp, and do anything outdoors. He also loved to build things.

Marty was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Earlish Harrell; brothers Clarence John Harrell and Bobby Edward Harrell; and grandmother Lena Agnes Harrell.

He is survived by his loving wife Arleen Elaine Harrell; his children Jessica (Mike), Rocky (Roxanne), Jason, Brandy (Bobby), Brandon (Trish), Cheryl (Tony), Marty Jr.

(Elizabeth), Marilyn (Eric); his mom Marilyn Harrell; Sisters Cheryl (Larry), Tracey, Cindy (John), Theresa; Several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Services for Marty are as follows:

The Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at 2:00PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, with Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
