Wayne Lee

Wayne F. Lee, 86, of Bloomfield, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Bristol Health Hospital. He was married to Delores Lee for 53 years.
Born on February 23, 1939, in Hartford, CT to the late Malcolm and Lucille Lee.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sharon Lee-Burts of Florida and Waynette Trammell of Maryland. Three sons: Wayne Eldridge of Hartford, Dewayne Eldridge of Hartford, and Michael Lee of Bloomfield. Three Sisters: Valarie Williams of Hartford, Meredith McKelvey of East Hartford, and Belinda Clark (Alton) of Bloomfield. One brother, Byron Lee of Minnesota. God daughters, Je’nee Jefferson of Hartford and Debra Still (Dennis) of Florida. Twelve grandchildren, Twelve great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Doreen Lee-Camby; sisters: Regina Phillip, Judith Ryans, and Karen Ryans.
Wayne Loved to fish and travel. He was a devoted grandfather to “The Baby” (Denise). Wayne attended school in Hartford and graduated from Prince Technical School as a Machinist. He worked at Stanadyne in Windsor, as a Lead Set-up Machinist for 17 years and at Kaman in Bloomfield for 14 years as a CNC Machinist until his retirement in October of 2001.
Wayne was a member of New Nutmeg Lodge # 67 I.B.P.O Elks and was an active Mason and server in many houses: Past Master St. Peter’s Lodge #20, Past Commander-in-Chief Hartford Consistory #80, Past High Priest Joshua Chapter #2 H.R.A.M., Past Thrice Illustrious Master, Jordan Council #2 Royal and Select Masters, Past Eminent Commander of Jerusalem, Commandery #2 Knights Templar, Past Patron of Ruth Chapter #25 O.E.S., Past Potentate of Makalia Temple #172, Past Eminent Grand Commander of Melvin E. LaBell Grand Commandery Knights Templar State of Connecticut.
Honorary Past Grand High Priest of Prince Hall Grand Chapter Holy Royal Arch Masons State of Connecticut.
Wayne also achieved both highest achievements in masonry. Wayne received the degree of a 33° mason, and He also received the Honorary degree of Knights of the York Cross of Honour.
