Theresa Sinkovits

Theresa E. Sinkovits, 95, of Coplay, passed away on April 17, 2025, at Holy Family Senior Living in Bethlehem. Born in Penn Allen, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Schatz.

She was the wife of the late Joseph “Tiger” Sinkovits with whom she shared 68 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2021. Theresa was a graduate of Nazareth High School where she was the Valedictorian.

She worked in production as a laborer for Western Electric. She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Coplay. Theresa loved to dance Polka and Waltz and sing and bake. She was kind and generous and devoted to her family. She took great care of her own parents and didn’t have an “off button”. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her son Joe Sinkovits and wife Liane and daughter Donna Sinkovits, grandchildren Aaron Sinkovits and wife Jess and Lynn Sinkovits, great grandchildren Madelyn Conti and Marley Sinkovits as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Helen Ruszin.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at St. Peter’s R.C. Church, 4 S 5th St., Coplay from 9-10 a.m. A mass of Christian burial officiated by Monsignor James will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
