Theresa Salierno

Theresa (Terry) Napolitano Salierno, beloved wife of Tom and mother of Robin and Deb, passed away peacefully at home early on the morning of March 17. She was surrounded by loved ones in her last days and Tom was always at her side during her long decline.

The youngest of five siblings, Terry was born to Carmine and Carmela Napolitano on December 16, 1937 in Tuxedo, She graduated Tuxedo High School in 1955 and married her highschool sweetheart, Thomas J. Salierno, in 1962. They had two daughters, Deborah (1963-2020) and Robin (1966). The whole family has been deeply valued in and around Tuxedo for their community spirit and volunteerism. Terry was especially known for her love of sports — golf and the Yankees in particular — and of good company in a wide circle of friends and family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tom Salierno, her daughter Robin and son-in-law George Kling, her son-in-law Gregory Kristopik, grandsons Gregory and Ryan Kristopik, and great-grandson Grayson Kristopik.

Cards and letters can be sent to Robin Kling, 152 Woodlands Drive, Tuxedo, NY 10987. Donations in Terry’s memory would be gratefully received by United Hospice.

There will be a memorial mass at Our Lady of Mr. Carmel in Tuxedo at a future date to be decided.
