Dorothy Malizia passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at her residence in Cornwall, NY. She was 96 years old. Daughter of the late James and Filomena (Milanese) Golio, she was born on August 13, 1928, in New York, NY.

Dorothy was a Patient Administrator for Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point, NY. She was also a proud member of St. Thomas Church in Cornwall and the Hotsie Totsie Follies.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marianne Malizia of Arlington, VA; sister, Dolores Guilano and her husband David, of South Carolina; granddaughter, Michelle Rodemers Marino and her husband Richard, and her great-grandchildren, Sullivan, Cameron, Hudson, and Fallon. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was also predeceased by her loving husband, Fred P. Malizia, and her beloved daughter, Dr. Carol Ann Malizia.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Highland Falls, NY. A Funeral Service will be held next month beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at The Holy Trinity Chapel in West Point, NY, interment will follow at West Point Cemetery.
