Theodore Sapling

Theodore “Ted” Thomas Sapling was born January 10, 1938 and passed April 1, 2025. He grew up in San Francisco born to Thomas and Katherine Sapling. Upon graduation from high school he entered the army for four years. From here he received a 2 year degree from a Junior College and then began his life long career in the envelope selling business. Ted eventually had his own business, Sapling Envelope & Printing. In 1968 he married JoAnn Dawdy (deceased 2023) and was a step father to Sandra Catechi (Chiodo). In 1970 he had another daughter, Jennifer (Barre). He became a grandpa in 2004 to granddaughter Annika and then again in 2009 to grandson Rhys. Ted was an accomplished tennis player most of his adult life. Those who knew Ted will remember his love of jokes and laughter; as he often aspired to be the life of the party. Per his wishes, no services will be held.
