Liangbi Chen

Liangbi Chen, age 83, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Wexford, Pennsylvania. Devoted husband of 56 years to Xiaohua Li. Loving father of Jianwei Chen. Proud grandfather of Emmy Chen, Nathan Chen, Ethan Chen, and Harper Chen.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Also survived by his sisters, Shuyi Chen, Lichun Chen, Keyin Chen, and his brother Dianxin Chen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shaokun Chen and Chen Hushi, and his brothers, Shangqun Chen and Zuofu Chen.

Born and raised in a suburban area outside of the city of Changsha, Liangbi started working as a mechanics in manufacturing factories after his high school in Changsha, Hunan province in China. He got his bachelor’s degree through hard work at night while working full time as a mechanic during daytime. Since then, he became a mechanical engineer. Over the years he took increasing responsibility and became the head of the factory. 

He moved to Wexford, Pennsylvania after retirement to be close to his grandchildren, where he enjoyed the rest of his retirement and life.

Family and Friends will be received Wednesday April 2, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Sperling Funeral Home at 700 Blazier Drive, Wexford PA 15090.

陈良弼生平

陈良弼先生，享年83岁，于二零二五年三月三十一日凌晨三点五十五分仙逝于美国匹兹堡。他是他五十六年结发之妻，李晓华，的忠诚好丈夫，也是他儿子，陈建伟，的好父亲。同时他也是孙儿孙女们（Emmy Chen, Nathan Chen, Ethan Chen, and Harper Chen）的好爷爷。他众多的亲朋好友包括陈淑仪大姐，陈丽纯二姐，陈可英三姐，陈聪华五妹，陈殿新三弟，还有叔伯兄弟姐妹，侄儿侄女都怀以不尽的追思。相信他的在天之灵可以与他的父亲母亲，以及兄弟陈卓夫和陈尚群在天上团聚。

他出生和长大于长沙市市郊的丁字湾镇，陈家塅村。中学毕业以后，他在长沙市各个机械制造工厂担任钳工。他依靠自己的勤奋好学在工作之余取得了电视大学学位，成为了一名机械工程师。通过多年的努力工作，他最终成为了他所在机械制造工厂的厂长。他退休以后搬到了美国匹兹堡与儿孙们同住，尽享天伦之乐。

陈良弼先生的追思纪念仪式将于四月二日，星期三上午十点至十一点，在Sperling Funeral Home举行。地址是 700 Blazier Drive, Wexford, PA 15090
