Tahoe Philharmonic presents Classics+ with performances in Carson City, Incline, Reno through June
- May 23, 2025

This summer, the Tahoe Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus proudly presents Classics+, a concert series featuring over 40 outstanding musicians performing timeless works by Bach and Beethoven.
Performances will take place in Carson City, Incline Village, and Reno from May 30 through June 8.
Back by popular demand, acclaimed violinist Kevin Matheson returns for Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major—a masterpiece known for its lyrical grace, emotional depth, and virtuosic brilliance.
The program opens with the first and second movements of Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major, including the beloved Air on the G String, offering an uplifting and elegant start to the evening.
Also featured is Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 in C major, an exuberant and joyful early work affectionately nicknamed “The Happy Symphony.”
All performances are conducted by Maestro James Rawie, who celebrates his 20th summer season with this special anniversary concert series.
Join us as TahoePhil brings these classics to life performed live by musicians you know and love.
