Sophie Chierchio

Sophie Chierchio Age 91, passed away on October 6, 2025. Sophie was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island in 1990. She worked in the medical field until her retirement. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and spending time with her Grandchildren.

Sophie was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Joseph, Tony(Jennie) and Tommy. Her husband Frank died in 2001.

She is survived by her children Donna and Vincent along with her Grandchildren Christian, Jared (Jenny), Jonathan and Jenna and Great Grandchildren Michael and Ella.

She is also survived by her sisters Anna and Theresa and sister-n-law Domenica along with her nieces and nephews whom she adored.

“She is in heaven dancing, free from pain and any sorrow smiling, as she watches over us, while we continue telling her story.”

A mass will be held at St. Charles Church 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday October 14, 2025.
