It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scottie Eldridge, on May 13, 2025. He was born on January 19, 1990. Scottie a beloved brother and loyal friend, was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Lena Eldridge, as well as a brother Larry Scott Eldridge, paternal and maternal grandparents. Scottie is survived by his brothers Chris Dixon and B.J. Eldridge, chosen sister Savanna Collins. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, who recall fond memories spent in his warm, cheerful company. Scottie’s vibrant personality and ever-present sense of humor cemented his role as the family’s jokester, bringing light and laughter into the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a uniquely endearing charm that will be dearly missed by all. An avid fan of both Chinese and Mexican cuisines, Scottie harbored a particular fondness for salads and was always up for a quick trip to his favorite restaurants. His love for iced coffee was a well-known trait stirred numerous jovial debates among friends and family. Scottie was a notable enthusiast of television shows such as “It, Bride of Chucky, Descendants and Poison Ivy”. He took immense pleasure in playing carnival games and was passionately devoted to watching wrestling and playing video games, activities that filled his times and brought him great joy. Karaoke and dance were his newfound love at the day center with his friends and caregivers. The hole that Scottie’s departure leaves in the hearts of his loved ones is profound. His love for life, contagious laughter and bright spirit will forever be celebrated and cherished. Scottie, a beacon of joy and love, will forever live in the memories of those fortunate to have known him. You will forever be in my heart. -Bridget

The family will receive friends after 6PM on Friday May 16, 2025, at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church at 4619 Hwy 1103, Hallie, Ky 41821 with service at 7PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 17, 2025, at 1PM at the church with Danny Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Eldridge Family Cemetery at Bates Fork Rd. in Hallie, Ky. Scottie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
