Sandra Millman
Sandra Carol Millman, 79, of Monroe passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 surrounded by her family, at Penn Medicine Princeton
Hospital, Plainsboro. Born in Newark, NJ she raised her family in Millburn, NJ, prior to residing in Edison and then later in Monroe. Sandy was a graduate of Highland Park
High School Class of 1962. She retired in 2010 with over 20 years of service as a Teacher with the Elizabeth Public Schools, Nicholas Butler Elementary School. She was a member of the National Council of Jewish Women and Haddasah. Sandy was also an avid reader. Her greatest joy was babysitting for her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Daughter of the late Evelyn and Herman Weil, and George Tabachow, Sandy was the wife of the late Daniel Millman. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Bradley Mitchell, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pamela Millman, a brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Lori Weil, and 3 grandchildren -Alex, Jacob and Lindsay Mitchell.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Guests are welcome back to the house after services.
Shiva will be observed: Thursday from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, and for Shiva and visiting on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm– 9:00 pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Star of David Memorial Chapel of South Brunswick.
