It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Gregory Pasbjerg on April 15, 2024 in Garden Grove, California. He was 68 years old and died peacefully. He was visited by family and friends prior to his death. Mike was born July 13, 1955 to Viena Esther (nee Hendrickson) and George Verner Pasbjerg in Detroit, Michigan.
Mike worked for Boston Medical in sales for 15 years before retiring. He had moved to California almost 45 years ago. Mike loved his family and cats of all kinds. He lived on the Balboa Peninsula for most of his time in California. He was a graduate of Oakland University, Rochester Hills, MI. He loved body surfing, bike riding, tennis and golf occasionally. He was always a big fan of Michigan State University, the Detroit Tigers, Redwings and Lions.
Mike will be truly missed by his family and friends. We will always remember his jokes, the way he loved to call family and friends all over the world and his laugh.
Mike is survived by his son, Christopher Demetsenare, his grandson, Christian Demetsenare, his great granddaughter, Milisa Demetsenare, his brother Steven Pasbjerg and almost 70 nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces and great grand nephews and nieces. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Joan Rista and Linda Christensen, and his brothers Carl, (George) Dennis and John Pasbjerg, his niece, Elisabeth Rista and nephews, (George Anthony) Tony Jaynes and John Pasbjerg, Jr.
Mike requested cremation and burial as sea off the Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach, California. The date for the burial at sea and memorial has not yet been determined. Cremation is being performed by Reflections Funeral Services in Anaheim, California, https://www.reflectionsfuneralservices.com/ .
