Sadie Reeves
Sadie Noelle Reeves, 23, of Gallagher entered Heaven on June 29, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Division. Sadie was the most special soul who came into this world on a Sunday and left our world on a Sunday. She was a miracle and we’re so thankful she was here, even for a short while. Sadie was so beautiful, funny and would laugh so hard sometimes she would lose her breath. She was the happiest person we ever knew, could light up a room without even saying a word, and she was always asking others to play. She greatly enjoyed going to the playground and loved the slides the most. She played on the Challenger baseball team for many years. She cheered for other children, always. Sadie was loved and cared for immensely by her entire family. If you met her, she may have pinched you or pulled your hair, but please just know it was her way of saying that she liked you. She was the most beautiful soul, she changed so many lives just by being her happy and energetic self and spreading love and understanding wherever she went. The loss felt by her family and friends is immeasurable, but we stand strong in our faith that Sadie was welcomed by our heavenly father. Sadie now spends her days running through Heaven with family, friends and pets that went before. She’s talking, climbing and doing all the things that she wasn’t able to do easily while she was on earth.

Surviving are her parents, Gregory ‘Al’ and Melody Walker Reeves of Gallagher; brother, Dayton Reeves of Gallagher; grandmother, Vanessa Vealey Walker of Gallagher; step-grandfather, Harold Wilson of Nutter Fort; aunt and uncles, Scotty and Amber Reeves of Belle, Becky Zakas of Charleston, Lisa Leadmon, Sylvia Orozco of California, Steve and Mary Vealey Veazey, Bud and Louette Cook, Amy Eidelkind Vealey, Vicky Walker. In keeping with Sadie’s final requests, her cremation wishes will be honored and there will be no services at this time. Sadie’s favorite holiday was always Christmas, particularly Santa because he looked just like Papa so we will be holding a Celebration of Life and Toy Drive to pay it forward, closer to her favorite season.
