Roger Foy

Roger P Foy, originally from New Bern, NC, moved to Oceanside, CA in 1993 where he remained until his passing on August 22nd, 2025. 

Roger worked for the Oceanside School District for awhile.  He worked and retired from Sodexo/Job Options, Inc. at Camp Pendleton, CA as a food service worker and supervisor.

Roger is the son of Lula Mae Gaylor Foy and Edward Foy Sr. who has preceeded him as well as his oldest brother and oldest sister, all from New Bern, NC.

Roger is survived by his son Rodrick Foy of Oceanside, CA, his stepdaughter Arlisha McClease of Haslet, TX, devoted companion Diane Williams of Vista, CA, 3 brothers Edward (Linda) Foy Jr. of Oceanside, CA, Willie Foy and Joseph Foy of New Bern, NC and sister Carol Jean Foy of Raleigh, NC.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted children, grands and great grands of the heart along with a host of friends.

Roger will surely be missed by all that knew him and all that befriended him.

On September 27, 2025 at 12:00 Noon, there will be a Memorial Service in Roger’s honor in the Villa Las Brisas Clubhouse at 801 Hillside Terrace, Vista, CA.
