Michael Crafton

Michael Don Crafton, 81, of Marble Falls, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Springs of Mount Vista in Harrison.

He was born March 27, 1944, at Shafter, California, to Alvin and Nettie Crafton. On May 31, 1992, at Bakersfield, California, he married the love of his life, Becky Sue Gauze. Mr. Crafton was a journeyman mechanic for most of his life. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed collecting all types of guns. He loved fishing and camping, finding peace and tranquility outdoors. But most of all, he loved to study and read the Word of God, striving to teach others about the gospel. He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepdaughter, Cariane Gauze.

Survivors include his wife and best friend, Becky Sue Crafton, of Marble Falls; one son, Michael Crafton Jr., of Colorado; two stepsons, Justin Terrance Gauze, of Harrison, and Jeremy Gauze, of Arkansas; and other relatives and friends.

A family conducted memorial service in Michael’s honor will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025 at his son’s home. Arrangements are under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
