Rod Muscio, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and entrepreneur, passed away July 13, 2025 due to complications from surgery.
He was born on September 26,1947 in Fresno, CA to Harriett Murray Muscio and Vernon Muscio, the second of three sons. After his father’s death the family moved to San Francisco where he attended school and spent most of his boyhood. In April 1965 he enlisted in the US Navy where he was trained as an electrician, an occupation that influenced the remainder of his life. After three tours in Vietnam he was honerably discharged. In 1969 he married Charlene Cleary and they began their married life in South San Francisco. While attending college and working at various companies he would do electrical work for family and friends. After the birth of their first son, Jeremy (deceased) Rod and Charlene moved to Pacifica. In 1976 Rod decided to get his Electrical Contractors License and Muscio Electric was born. Eventually the company would include security, alarms, installation of phone and data systems, employing fifteen + people.
Rod very much enjoyed coaching his sons Jeremy, Ryan and Robby in baseball. He was instrumental in raising funds for Pony League and always sponsored baseball, basketball and soccer teams throughout Pacifica. In recent years Rod turned his attention to acquiring properties and doing renovations.
Rod is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlene, his sons Ryan (Paola), Robby (Jillian), daughter-in-law Cindy and five grandchildren – Brennan, Braydon, Lariana, Benjamin and Makena. Rod is also survived by his younger brother Stan (Mary), sister-in-law Cindy and numerous nieces, great nieces and nephews. He will live in our hearts forever.
