Carson City Supervisors seek to fill seat on wildlife management advisory board

The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife.
The Board manages wildlife matters within Carson City. The meetings vary in number, usually with the onset of Fishing and Hunting seasons, and could be up to six hours a month.
There is currently one (1) opening, for a term expiring in August 2028. This position will be for a citizen at large. Applicants must be a registered voter as well as a resident of Carson City.
All members will serve without compensation. The City’s Boards, Committees, and Commissions Policy and Procedures can be viewed online at carson.org/volunteer. Let it be known that all applications submitted to this office will be considered public information.
Applications will be accepted until August 1, 2025. Interviews for this volunteer position are tentatively planned to be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
