Robert “Bob” Johnson
Robert “Bob” Johnson, 82, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away on June 13, 2025 in Winchester.
Born on June 25, 1942 in Huntington, Ohio, Bob was the son of Johnnie Johnson and Mary McIntosh.
Bob dedicated his career to masonry and concrete work, taking immense pride in the structures he built with his own hands.
He was a one-of-a-kind man who loved his family and friends dearly. Always ready to lend a hand, Bob was known for being there whenever someone needed help. His generosity and steadfast presence made him a pillar in the lives of those around him.
Bob is survived by his son Bobby Lee Johnson; daughter Rebecca Tyra; granddaughters Brittany Tyra and Whitney Stephens; brother Hank Johnson; sister Freda Smallwood; and many nieces and nephews who cherished him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Johnson and Mary McIntosh; as well as siblings Gertrude, Jimmy, Donald, Joyce, and Paul.
A funeral service will be held at Newnam Funeral Home 108 Center St. Beattyville, KY 41311 on Wednesday June 18, 2025 at 2 PM. Visit 1-2 PM.
Bob was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
