Rick Tomolo

Clinton-Richard C. Tomolo, 70, died Friday, May 16, 2025 at UMass Medical Center-University Campus, after being stricken ill. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Jean (Martin) Tomolo; their three children, Missy Tomolo, Jenifer Clarke & husband Michael, and Ricky Tomolo and companion Erica Nougaret; three adoring grandchildren, Analise Tomolo, TJ and Sam Clarke; siblings, James A. Tomolo, Jr. & long time companion Kelly O’Toole, and Candice F. Tomolo; nephew and niece James Tomolo III and Courtney Tomolo, several cousins, extended family, and many dear friends.

Son of the late James A. Tomolo, Sr. & Frances (Lemanski) Tomolo, Rick was born and raised in Clinton, and was a graduate of Our Lady of Jasna Gora School and Notre Dame Academy, Class of 1973. He continued studies at Mt. Wachusett Community College and worked as a Computer Technician for Digital Equipment Corporation and Data General. Rick could most often be found tinkering on an item that he had excitedly purchased at yard sales. Blessed with a brilliant mind, he enjoyed a good game of chess and would be often found tuning his guitar. In addition, Rick was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing and hiking. He was a lifelong music fan and enjoyed a good concert. Famous for his dad jokes, quick wit, and sense of humor, Rick brought laughter to all occasions. Above all, he was happiest in the company of friends and family and will be forever remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Calling hours will be held from 5 until 7PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday, May 22, 2025 in the funeral home, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.
