Signups are underway for the 6th annual Dinks and Drinks Pickleball Tournament happening April 5-6 at the Robert “Bob” Crowell Multi-Purpose Athletic Center, also known as the MAC, in Carson City.

Registration is open through March 31 at Spring 2025 Dinks and Drinks Pickleball Tournament.

Event schedule:

Saturday, April 5: Women’s and Men’s Doubles – skill levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ (all open to ages 10 and above)

Sunday, April 6: Mixed Doubles – skill levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ (all open to ages 10 and above)

Organizers note that during tournament days, wherever possible, they will try to split events into age groups to avoid wide age ranges in an event. This will take place when registrations in an event make it possible to do so.

The shirts are short sleeve, navy blue with an all white design.

The shirts are short sleeve, navy blue with an all white design.

Shirts can be ordered for delivery at the tournament until March 12, according to Dave Whitefield and Juana Beguelin, Carson City’s USAP Ambassadors.

This is a fun event that many people from around the area have played in before, said Whitefield.

Adult alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase during the tournament. Profits from the beverage sales go to the Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department.

Sponsored by Carson City Parks and Recreation Department and the Foundation for Carson City Parks and Recreation, tourney organizers note their continued support for this event and courts at Mills Park.

Net proceeds from the tournament will go to the Mills Park Pickleball Court Project at the Foundation for Carson City Parks and Recreation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space is donating the use of the MAC as a fundraiser for the Mills Park Pickleball Project.
