Raymond Machnicki

Raymond Frank Machnicki, age 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025, with family by his side. Born on October 23, 1933, in Garfield Heights, Ohio, he was the cherished son of Frank and Lucille Machnicki. Raymond was married to his wife, Bette, for 66 years until her passing three years ago. Their partnership was a cornerstone of his life, and together they raised a family whose lives reflect their shared journey.

Raymond spent most of his life in Cleveland, Ohio, before relocating to Arizona to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Cynthia (Tracy), Deborah (Dave), Frank (Carolyn), and Francine; his grandchildren: Stephen, Lauren (Danny), Bradley (Vanessa), Kimber, Brittany (Terrence), Caitlin, Caleb, Luke, Madison, and Morgan; and his great-grandchildren: Mahkai, Melody, Kinslee, Savannah, and Zoe. He is preceded in death by his cherished sisters, Janice and Doris.

He spent most of his career in sales and found joy in simple pleasures—boating on Lake Erie, travelling and spending time working in the yard. He leaves behind moments and memories that helped shape those who knew him. His presence will be remembered, and he will be missed and forever held in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206. A graveside service will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1562 Baseline Road, Mesa, Arizona.
