Randall B. Ribbens, age 72, of Cascade passed away at Sharon Richardson on July 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Sheboygan County on January 19, 1953, son of the late Herbert Jr. and Jewell (Muench) Ribbens. Randy graduated from Plymouth High School in 1972.
On March 19, 1977, he married Karen Wieck. They resided in Cascade following their marriage raising their two children. Karen preceded him in death on December 10, 2004.
Randy worked as a welder for various companies throughout his life, most recently at Vollrath until his retirement.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved being in nature. He loved hunting and fishing, looking for mushrooms, camping, gardening and hanging out with his friends at Harbor Lights on Lake Ellen. He was a lifetime member of NRA, Whitetails Unlimited, and the Long Lake Fishing Club. Randy also loved watching all types of racing, but especially loved sprint car and dirt track racing.
Most of all, he loved his family. He loved spending time with his family and would always put them first before worrying about himself.
Randy is survived by: Son, Braden; Son-in-law, Duane Boll; Four grandchildren: Hayden, Hannah, Haven, and Avery; Sister, Charleen (Al) Baumann; Brother, Daniel Ribbens; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Warren Gillam, Janis Ribbens, Dennis (Linda) Wieck, Gary Wieck, Kathy (Dennis) Halloran, Mary (Nathan Jr.) Truax, Arden Jr. (Ida) Wieck, Monica Kleinhans, Michael (Jessica) Wieck, and Scott (Lori) Wieck; As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by: His wife, Karen; Daughter, Amber Boll; Parents, Herbert Jr. and Jewell Ribbens; Parents-in-law, Arden Sr. and Marian Wieck; Sister, Marlyn Gillam; Brother, Tim Ribbens; and Brother-in-law, Reed Kleinhans.
A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held at a later date.
Charitable donations can be made in Randy’s honor at the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
