Peggy Giordano

Peggy Giordano, a beloved resident of Yorktown Heights, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025. She was 95 years old.

Born in the Bronx, NY to Elena and Arturo Onetto, Peggy graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx, NY.

On February 5, 1950, she married the love of her life, Ralph Giordano, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in the Bronx, NY, and they built a beautiful life together for over 65 years.

Peggy was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her friendly and peaceful personality and her love for music (a self-taught pianist).

Peggy is predeceased by her husband Ralph and survived by her sons Ralph (Susan), Arthur (Carol), and Paul (Luci)—as well as her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Peggy will be greatly missed by her entire family and all those who were blessed to have known her. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication to family and friends will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
