Patrick was born to Lillian & John Clark in Seattle.
He was also raised when he was young by his
beloved grandmother Elsie Osier of Bellingham, WA.
After tragically losing both parents, Patrick wound
up in the foster care system of Santa Clara County
and lived with various families for a number of years.
Due to a fortunate turn of events, Patrick was able
to attend Santa Clara University and graduated with
a bachelors in English in 1986. Later, Patrick also
studied education at the graduate level at Hayward
State University, specializing in the use of technology.
Patrick was an educator throughout his adult life,
at the pinnacle of his career he worked at different
times as the Dean of Students and Dean of Instruction
at various local colleges. But he was always in
the classroom and he had a heart for his students.
Patrick was also an accomplished lifelong musician,
working commercial gigs across the bay area. He
loved many genres of music, he was also an expert
on the history of rock & modern jazz. For several
years, he also worked as a Radio DJ.
In his private life, Patrick loved parties, concerts, and
cooking gourmet food. He was a fan of the Warriors
and basketball in general, as well as the 49ers.. For fun,
Patrick was also an avid online chess player.
Patrick had multiple distinct circles of good friends,
as well as a loving family. Each of these distinct
communities should feel free to donate in memory
of Patrick as best you knew him, in his honor.
