Pamela “Pam” Wells

Pamela Theodora (Theopolos) Wells, age 74, of Springfield, passed away on May 16, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born on September 18, 1950, in Springfield, she was the beloved daughter of Harland (Verne) Theopolos and Remella (Bostick) Theopolos.
Pam was a proud graduate of Springfield North High School and cherished her childhood memories spent at her grandfather’s business, The Ohio Restaurant. She had a lifelong love for reading romance novels and crocheting, and she was an enthusiastic collector of Elvis memorabilia and elephant figurines.
A devoted member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Pam was also active in the local community through her memberships at the Eagles, the Union Club, and the Machinist Club. She dedicated over 20 years to working in dietary services at Community Hospital and Springfield Regional Hospital, where she was known for her hard work and warm spirit.
Pam found joy in dancing with friends, exploring Springfield’s local spots, and most of all, in spending meaningful time with her family. She adored her dogs, Bubby and Champ, and took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pam is survived by her son, Andrew Wells and his wife, Allison; beloved grandchildren Alexandria and Andrew Wells; brother, Theodore Theopolos and his wife Jene; stepmother Annette Theopolos; brother-in-law Jack Bailey, nieces, and nephews and numerous friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, her sisters: Vicki Bailey and Debra Theopolos; and nephew Donnis Bailey.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Littleton & Rue Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clark County SPCA. Online expression may be made at www.littletonandrue.com.
