In Loving Memory of Nicholas “Nick” Adamski – A Life of Courage, Service, and Unbreakable Spirit
1982 – 2025
Nicholas “Nick” Adamski passed away peacefully in hospice on May 27th, after a courageous battle with stage 4 glioblastoma. He was just 42 years old.
Nick’s life was defined by service, strength, and a deep compassion for others. A proud member of the Milwaukee Fire Department, he served with quiet courage and professionalism, never seeking attention—only wanting to make a difference.
In December 2020, Nick’s life took a new turn when he was diagnosed with glioblastoma. over the course of 4 1/2 years he underwent two brain surgeries, two rounds of radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and endured countless side effects. Yet through it all, Nick chose not just to fight—but to inspire.
Nick became a public voice for hope and resilience. With his signature message of PMA – Positive Mental Attitude, he appeared on television, radio, podcasts, and live events to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research. Even while enduring his own pain, Nick found purpose in helping others and reminding the world to hold on to light—even in the darkest hours.
Nick never judged, never complained. He simply loved. And he gave—endlessly.
Nick is survived by his loving wife, Diane Pathieu; his devoted parents; stepfather; in-laws; brother; two sisters-in-law; two cherished nieces and a nephew.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all who stood by Nick’s side throughout his fight.
His light, his legacy, and his love will never be forgotten
