Melody Stivers

Melody Ann Stivers, 65 passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at her home of many years surrounded by her husband of 45 years, Patrick “Packy” Stivers, her loving daughter, Nicole Stivers and her son, Christopher Stivers.

She is also survived by her mother, Maybelle Frazier and her brothers, Steve Frazier (Debbie) and Glenn Frazier (Debra).

Melody was a 1978 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and had worked for many years for the Bureau of Public Debt and was very well liked and thought of there. She loved canning and cooking for her family and was very good at both. Addison’s Disorder was diagnosed 30 years ago, the medicine and the disorder took its toll but Melody was strong and remained tough until the end. She was a great aunt, sister, wife, mother, cousin and daughter and will be greatly missed by all who knew her including he pets, Krazy, Cutie, Violet and Koa that miss her already. Melody attended local churches and enjoyed them all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert G. Frazier; One brother, Robert Gary Frazier and her sisters, Ruth Diane Caison and Donna Rossbo

There will be no services at this time per her wishes and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
