Mary Anne Tetro
Mary Anne Tetro, a beloved resident of Yorktown Heights, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. She was 84 years old.
Born in the Bronx, NY in 1941 to Carmine and Helen Immediate, Mary Anne graduated from Thorpe Secretarial School in 1958. On October 20, 1962, she married the love of her life, Frank Tetro, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mount Vernon, NY. Their love story spanned over 68 years, beginning as high school sweethearts and continuing as devoted partners throughout their lives—a bond that was truly epic and unwavering.
Mary Anne worked as a dedicated Comptroller for Katonah Architectural Hardware until her retirement in 2021. Her professional diligence was matched only by her fierce devotion to her family and friends.
She will be remembered as an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love for her husband was the cornerstone of her life, and her children always knew her as their steadfast protector and tireless supporter. As a grandmother, Mary Anne’s pride and joy knew no bounds—she never missed a milestone, no matter how big or small, and she made sure her grandchildren always knew how deeply they were loved.
Her presence lit up every room, and she touched countless lives with her warmth, loyalty, and generosity. Mary Anne was the kind of friend who could always be counted on, and her absence leaves a void that words cannot fill.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank; her three children, Frank (Silvana), Joy (James), and Erik (Jennifer); and her cherished grandchildren: Samantha, Joshua, Shane, Alexis, Matthew, Jillian, and Skyler.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Clark & Giordano Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church in Yorktown Heights.
