Lori Greenblatt

Lori Greenblatt, age 71, passed away on August 5, 2025.

Lori walked through life with a passion, zeal, and effervescence unlike few others. Her brilliance was only superseded by her compassion and humanity. She laughed, she cared, she cried, she fought, she smiled, she hugged, she challenged, she danced, and she loved everyone that she allowed into her life. She was like a moth to a flame when someone brilliant crossed her path which resulted in a cohort of amazing people who have the privilege of calling Lori their friend..

Lori was as much of an outsider as she was an insider. She embraced individuality. She challenged conventions and beliefs. She made the people around her better. While she didn’t expect perfection she inspired it.

Lori valiantly fought a battle against cancer which was a battle that cannot be won. Cancer didn’t own her and cancer didn’t define her. Cancer gave her the opportunity to touch a team of health care professionals, who are better people for having made her acquaintance. She loved her team as much as they loved her.

Lori is the person that we all aspire to be.

Lori is survived by her husband Mark, her twin children Emma & Lucas (her greatest achievement in a well lived life), her son-in-law Kyle, her grandson Cameron who brought more joy than one can possibly be imagined, her two crazy rescue dogs Whiskey and Kady and countless loyal friends and confidants whose lives have been enriched in a way that cannot be expressed with words.

Lori’s family will be sitting Shiva on Thursday August 7th, Saturday August 9th and Sunday August 10th from 5pm to 9pm.

Lori’s family invites you to share in remembering her joyous life at McMahon Funeral Home in White Plains, NY on Friday August 8th from 6pm to 9pm and will be planning a celebration of her life in August of 2026.
