Mark Dorsett

Mark Wesley Dorsett, age 68, passed away, surrounded by family, on Thursday, July 10, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born on February 25, 1957 in Trenton to the late James Wesley Dorsett and Mary Sue Jones Dorsett.

Mark loved hummingbirds, living on the farm and listening to Jamie Johnson. He attended Milan High School and retired from Owens Corning.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Debbie Dorsett of Milan; brother, Douglas Wayne Dorsett (Amy) of Milan; three sisters, Beverly Ann McVay of Milan, Jamie Delores Crocker of Milan and Retha Jo Dunavan (James) of Milan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends; and his four legged fur baby, Sadie Lou.

He is also survived by his in-laws and family and friends in Alabama.

Mark was loved by everyone who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
