Mark D. Batchelor, age 58, of Indian Shores, Florida, died suddenly on August 15, 2025. Mark was born on March 21, 1967 to the late Roy Batchelor and Loraine Batchelor Stipp of Corfu, NY.
Mark graduated from Pembroke High School, in Corfu, NY, in 1985, where he was both a scholar and an athlete, serving as captain of the basketball team. He attended Florida State University where he received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, in marketing and business. After a job with National Cash Register, he worked for Michelin Tire in the US, France, and Canada from 1993-2003. From 2003-2013, Mark worked for Kal Tire, in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, as Senior Vice President, Sales, where he also became a managing partner. He retired to become a full-time Dad in 2013.
Mark was married to Sandi Dettlaff until her death in 2012. He is survived by their two sons, Austin R. Batchelor of Buffalo, NY and Chase A. Batchelor, of Pullman, WA.
He is also survived by his sister, Susan (Daniel) Yox, of Orchard Park, NY, and brothers John E. Batchelor, of Los Angeles, CA and the late Jeffrey R. Batchelor, nieces and nephews, other family members, and many good friends. Mark leaves a beloved partner, Suzanne Eukovich, of Clearwater, Fl.
Friends are invited to a celebration of life on September 3, 2025, 2 PM, at The Estate, 1850 County Road 193, Clearwater, Fl 33759.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donations to Vernon Baseball, in memory of
