In her younger years, Marjorie found joy in line dancing and shopping, pursuits that reflected her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Her unwavering faith and devotion served as the foundation of her gentle character, and she will be remembered as the kindest woman one could ever meet. She attended Holy Rosary Roman Catholic High School in her hometown of Columbus. In Hendersonville, Marjorie became a cherished member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, where she worshipped and formed lasting friendships for nearly 17 years. She was also a resident of the Carolina Village community, where she spent the last 17 years of her life surrounded by friends and neighbors who loved her dearly.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, John Gerard Reichert; her parents, Talmadge Doggett and Katherine Klein Doggett; and her three sisters. She leaves behind her devoted sons, John Gerard Reichert and his wife, Sally, and William Louis Reichert and his wife, Tammy. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Tina Bostic and husband, Steve, Trese Freitag and her husband, Wally, Nicholas William Reichert and his wife, Katie, and Beth Walker and her husband, Michael; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Forrest Garrison and his wife, Veronica, Teana Moates and her husband, Ashley, Jake Gall, Andrew Charles Walker and his wife, Lauren, and Katherine Elizabeth Walker.
Her family and friends find comfort in the knowledge that she is now reunited with those who have gone before her in a place of eternal peace.
