Marie T. Reidy, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 91 in Freehold, New Jersey. Born on December 10, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, Marie lived a life marked by dedication to her family, unwavering work ethic, and an immense capacity for love.
Marie was the cherished matriarch of her family and is survived by her loving daughter Maureen Mosomillo and her husband Vincent; her adored grandchildren; Allison, Matthew and his fiance Julia and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will treasure her memory. Her life was rich with relationships forged from her warmth and selflessness. Though she was predeceased by all of her siblings—Minnie, Louise, Clara, Marion, Alice, Paul, Henry, Angelo, Raymond, and Frank. Marie’s legacy of love and devotion endures.
Her passion for cleanliness and order was more than a hobby; it was a testament to her belief in the importance of creating a welcoming and nurturing environment. Marie’s colleagues and those she served through her work often remarked on her dedication and the joy she brought into their lives through her efforts.
Marie inspired others through her actions, and her influence extended beyond her immediate circle, touching the lives of many who were fortunate enough to encounter her generous spirit.
To know Marie was to experience kindness in its purest form. She had a way of making everyone she met feel valued and loved. Her generosity was not limited to her family; Marie was always ready to lend a hand to those in need.
