Lyndon Kline

Lyndon James Kline, 68, of Delaware, Ohio went to be with Jesus on August 11, 2025.

Lyn, as he was known by most, was born November 18, 1956, to Donald and Marilyn Kline in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.

He studied at Pennsylvania State University graduating with an Associate’s degree, and most recently was given a Certificateg of Achievement for his work towards his Bachelor’s from the same university. While he had dreams of being an electrical engineer, he became a medical equipment salesman by happenstance. He was an honest and hardworking salesman for most of his life until he retired in 2023. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons and grand pups, which gave him such joy and happiness.

Anyone that knew Lyn, knew the great loves of his life that brought him unlimited amounts of joy: his family, football, old movies, his grand pups and helping others. He loved to learn and he always said he got this trait from the smartest man he ever knew, his father. Lyndon was a lifelong and diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pennsylvania State Univeristy Nittany Lions, and was always proud to say he was from Pennsylvania.

To know Lyn was to love him. He always could make you smile and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He was the most beloved husband, father and grandfather his family could have ever asked for. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Catherine (Cathy) who he married on July 10, 1982 as well as his daughters, Brittany Kline and Kristen Ramunas, son in law Robert and grandsons Roman and Liam.

A funeral mass will be held for Lyn at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:30 am.

Following the conclusion of mass, a wake will be held at 366 N. 26th Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.

The Snyder Funeral Homes – Delaware Chapel is honored to serve the Kline family in their time of need.
