Lula Mae Gibson, 88, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Granbury, passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, August 28, 2025, in Granbury.
A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Erath Garden of Memories in Stephenville, Texas.
Lula Mae was born on May 7, 1937, in Gorman, Texas, to the late Lender and Lena Cox. In August of 1962, she married Jack Gibson, with whom she shared many loving years. A devoted homemaker, Lula Mae dedicated her life to caring for her family and often helped in raising other children within the family circle. She found joy in shopping and delighted in collecting special treasures throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer, and husband, Bryan Dias; grandson, Quade Gibson, and wife, Maycie, along with great-grandson, Jack Gibson; grandchildren, Breanna Dias, Joe Dias, and Drew Dias; sister, Sheryl Brown, and nephew, Shane Schwartz. She is also survived by her son, Michael Henderson; grandchildren, Tobi Henderson and Danni Henderson; and great-grandchildren.
Lula Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, and her sister, Wanda Ogle.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace and together again with her husband, Jack, and her parents.
