Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, niece , cousin and friend.

Laura Jean Nunley, 63, of Palatka, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at her sister’s residence in Winter Park, Florida following an extended illness.

Laura was born in Palatka and went to school in Miami. She came back to Palatka to live with and care for her beloved mother after her father passed away. Laura was happy-go-lucky and had a smile for everyone. She loved spending time gardening, and with her family.

Besides her parents, Charles Lee Nunley and Elsa Johnson Nunley, Laura was preceded in death by a brother, Keith H. Nunley.

Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Charles Bradford Nunley (Laura Suzanne); two sisters and brothers-in-law, Winnona M. Grabe (Richard) and Ellen L. Beach (Alan); a sister-in-law, Mechele Nunley; ten nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the San Mateo Cemetery in San Mateo, Florida with Pastor John Cameron officiating.
