In Loving Memory of Laura Victoria Holder
Who left us on October 24, 2025
A radiant and free spirit, Laura was defined by her light, her laughter, and an inner fire that could never be dimmed. Knowing her was an experience in pure joy, thrilling adventure, and genuine connection. Her smile and loving heart touched everyone she met — but most of all, her children.
Laura’s greatest gift was the security and peace she created for her family. She was their biggest cheerleader, always encouraging, always believing.
She loved the beach, and she loved the open road — taking cross-country RV trips and making lifelong memories with her children, with her beloved husband Jason always by her side. The memories she created — of love, sand, and mountain peaks — will live forever in her children’s hearts.
Laura cherished her family and friends deeply and immensely. Though she is gone, her love remains ever-present in the hearts of her husband Jason; her sons, Cameron and Easton; and her daughter, Melanie.
Dear Laura — you will always be your children’s light, their beachcomber, their mountain song. Your love will carry them through every wave and every trail.
She was greeted in Heaven by her grandfather; “paw paw’; Wayne Jones, mother, Vikki Jones; grandmother, Glenda Jones; cousin, Jessica Jones, Cherie Jones; and aunt, Sissy Dougharty.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jason Holder; children Cameron Holder, Easton Holder, and Melanie Holder; father; John Choate, stepfather; Paul Saunders, uncle Ricky Jones; cousin Brianna and her son MJ; as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends across Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Southeast Texas.
