In Loving Memory of Joanne Gail Rompilla

May 16, 1957 – October 25, 2025

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend Joanne Gail Rompilla, 68, of Whitehall, Pennsylvania passed away on October 25, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on May 16, 1957, Joanne was a proud graduate of Catasauqua High School. She went on to marry the love of her life, Phil, and together they built a beautiful family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

For over 30 years, Joanne worked with dedication and heart at SKF. Beyond her work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures-playing bingo and visiting the casino with her best friend Charlene and spending precious time with her family. Some of her happiest moments were watching her grandchildren’s sporting events, where her smile and cheers filled the stands.

Joanne is survived by her devoted husband, Phil; her daughters, Lauren and Mellisa; her son, Eric; her sister, Lori; and her brother, Ronald. She was a loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 4. Joanne now joins her beloved mother, Lorraine; father, Ronald; and son, Shawn, in eternal peace. Joanne chose to be cremated, and her family will hold a celebration of her beautiful life at a later date.

In honor of Joanne’s life and her generous heart, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a cause close to her heart, as she was an annual donor to the foundation and would want to continue supporting her grandson even in rest.

Joanne’s love, laughter, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly through her family, her friends, and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

A Prayer for Joanne Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Joanne’s life-for her kindness, laughter, and love that touched all who knew her. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort knowing she rests in Your eternal care. Grant peace to her soul and strength to those she leaves behind. May her memory be a guiding light, reminding us to love deeply and cherish every moment together. Amen.
