Larry E. Park, 70, of Altoona, passed away on Friday afternoon, April 18, 2025, at UPMC Altoona. Born in Altoona to the late Charles and Ethel (Feathers) Park, Larry married Connie Boore on July 26,1980, in Altoona.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Connie; his three children: John T. Ermin Jr. (Stacey), Kristina M. Bartley (Doug), and Larry C. Park (Christine); his five cherished grandchildren: Olivia Bartley, Hannah Bartley, Sophia Park, Ryder Park, and Leah Bartley; his siblings: Linda Burchfield, Kathleen Harr, Sandra Tomlinson (Randy), and Allen Park (Yvonne); and his sister-in-law, Janet Park. He is also survived by many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his two brothers, Curtis Park and Douglas Park.
A graduate of Altoona High School, Larry retired from Tel-Power as a truck driver and lineman, having previously worked at Sears Auto Center as a service advisor for many years. He was a proud member of the Catholic War Vets.
Larry had a passion for riding motorcycles and was a former member of the Animals Motorcycle Club. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. Larry was particularly skilled at growing various vegetables, especially tomatoes, and generously shared his harvest with family and neighbors.
A die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan, Larry’s true passion was his family and the time he spent with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of Larry from 5 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, PA 16601.
