Kenneth Janda
- June 15, 2025

Kenneth M. Janda went to be in the presence of the Lord on June 13, 2025, at the age of 73.
Kenny was born in Clinton, MA to Kenneth L. Janda and Eleanor M. (Driscoll) Janda Chase and was a 1969 graduate of Nashoba Regional High School. When he was young, he enjoyed accompanying his dad on a weekly paper route, playing football, and hanging out with his neighborhood friends. After high school Ken pursued a career in carpentry and became a skilled general contractor who worked with various companies until going into business for himself in the early eighties until his recent retirement. Kenny was famously known for his standard attire of jeans, sneakers, and a Carhartt t-shirt with the must have pocket.
Kenny devoted his life to caring for and providing for his family. His five granddaughters were everything to him and he cherished building relationships with each of them, teaching them new skills, and supporting them in their school interests and sports.
Kenny was a member of the body of Christ and for many years worshipped as a friend of Trinity Church in Bolton, MA, and previously served on the House Committee and assisted in the Diaconate. He enjoyed the fellowship and participating in Men’s First Monday and Friday Morning Zoom Bible study. Additionally, he was a member of the Dull Men’s Club at the Clinton Senior Center.
Kenny was a man of many interests but was especially passionate about anything related to food. He loved talking about food, trying new restaurants, frequently visiting local favorite restaurants, and sharing meals with friends. Kenny loved Christmas and could happily report on any given day how many more days until Christmas. His favorite Christmas movie was It’s a Wonderful Life, but he enjoyed many Hallmark Christmas movies as well.
Kenny is survived by his high school sweetheart, Elaine (Ventura) Janda, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage; their children, Bobbie-Jo Janda and her partner Seanna DiStefano, Becky Janda, Kenneth Janda and his wife Erin, and Jennifer Janda. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Janda and wife Judy, Kathleen Janda and wife Marcia, David Janda and wife Rita, and Allen Janda and wife Beth. His grandchildren, Rachael, Meggan and fiancé Jacob, Brooke, Abbie and Emily. Kenny also leaves many other extended family and friends. Besides his parents, Kenny was predeceased by his youngest brother, Andrew Janda.
Kenny loved talking about his faith and lived his faith through his actions.
He was loyal, honest, and dependable. Kenny was generous beyond measure and gave freely of his time, knowledge, money, and skills. He was a mentor and father-figure to so many. Kenny’s life embodied 2 Timothy 4:7 as he “fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.”
Calling hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Trinity Church, 14 Wattaquadock Hill Rd., Bolton, with burial to follow in South Cemetery, Bolton.
