Kelly Joseph Reppel, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on the 6th of August, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida, after a valiant battle with cancer. Kelly was born on December 4, 1962, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kelly’s life was a testament to the joy and love he found in simple pleasures. He was a man who lived his faith through his actions, always extending a hand to those in need. A graduate of Suncoast High School, Kelly furthered his education at Palm Beach State College, earning an Associate of Arts degree that would pave the way for his long and rewarding career with Publix Supermarkets. For 40 years, he dedicated himself to the company, rising to the position of Store Manager before eventually opting to continue as a Part-Time Stock Clerk, a role in which he continued to share his warmth and expertise with colleagues and customers alike. Kelly’s dedication to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Bell Reppel; daughters, Taylor Reppel Hanson and her husband Chris, Avery Reppel Martin, and her husband Nathan; stepson Tyson Jackson; and his grandchildren, Jameson and Faith Jackson. His legacy also lives on through his siblings, Charles Reppel Jr. and his wife Laurie, Michael Reppel, Patrick Reppel and his wife Cindy, Nancy Reppel Guerrero and her husband Anthony, Shannan Reppel Mahler, and Beth Reppel Martin and her husband Thomas, along with his eighteen nieces and nephews. Kelly was predeceased by his parents, Charles Reppel Sr. and Sylvia Merwin Reppel, and his brother, Casey Reppel. Kelly loved running, watching sunsets, and spending time at the beach. The beach was his happy place, whether he was with family and friends or alone. He also enjoyed traveling and took every chance to see new places, always appreciating the beauty and variety the world had to offer. As we bid farewell to Kelly, we hold tight to the memories that remind us of his incredible journey through life. His impact was profound, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. While we mourn the loss of such a remarkable man, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he led and the countless ways in which he enriched our lives.
