CAROL MAE MEYERS, 93, of Menominee passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area in Marinette, WI. She was born on January 11, 1932 to the late Peter and Frances (Baxter) Suennen in Menominee. Carol graduated from Menominee High School and got her degree in nursing. Before pursuing nursing, Carol owned and operated “The Toy Center” in Marinette along with her late husband George Meyers. After many years, “The Toy Center” moved to Menominee where the name changed to “Toys & Things.” Carol then moved to California and worked as a Vocational Nurse for Hospice for more than 25 years. She enjoyed going on cruises, traveling, and reading. Carol was a member at Resurrection Parish.
Carol is survived by six children: Bob (Mary) Polasky, Pam (Mike) Bottkol, Barb (Rick) Cotton, Gayle Williams, Jeff Polasky, and Bill (Lisa) Meyers; 30 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many other friends and family.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: John Polasky, George Meyers, and Marv Grom; three sons: Doug Polasky, Rick Polasky, Ken Polasky; one daughter: Fran Weimer; four brothers: Larry, Bill, Ron, and Jim Arsineau; and one grandson: Todd Polasky.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Meyers family with arrangements.
