Kathleen Yates
Kathleen Sue Yates, age 67, of Pevely, Missouri, passed away Wednesday September 3, 2025 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She was born May 25, 1958 in Mansfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Gloria (nee Ruch) and Richard Wise.
She is survived by her husband Richard James Yates; daughters Trisha Kay (Seth Little) Yates of Camdenton, Missouri and Sarah Ann (Jason Paisley) Yates of Desoto, Missouri; grandchildren Toby (Dominique) Yates, Courtney Yates, Bradley Yates, Dylan (Courtney Meyer) Moon and Dustin Moon; great-grandchildren Tobias Yates, Julian Yates, Arielle Yates and Oaklee Moon; and sisters Terry Hettinger of Arkansas and Rita Wise of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Richard James Yates, Jr. and a sister Kay Roe.
She had worked in metal fabricating at United Engineering Company and Edge Manufacturing, both in Pevely. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and ultimately spending time with her family.
A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M., Saturday September 20, 2025 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
